  • Chris Berg, CPA

    Chris specializes in individual, business, and trust taxation and works extensively with corporate executives from companies such as Intel and Nike, as well as an array of small business clients. He has widespread expertise in executive compensation planning, estate & trust planning, and reporting requirements related to foreign assets. Chris is committed to building long-term client relationships and takes pride in listening closely to what each client needs then creating a strategy to meet the client’s goals.

    Chris is a native of Chicago and earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois. He worked for a national accounting firm in Chicago before trading in the cold winters of the Midwest to start a new adventure in the great Pacific Northwest. Chris is an enthusiastic follower of European soccer and enjoys coaching soccer teams for his two sons on the weekends. He is also an avid mountain biker and loves exploring the local trails with his family and friends. He has explored the world with his bike including trips to Colorado, California, New Mexico, Utah, British Columbia, and Italy.
  • Lisa Morris, EA, LTC

    Lisa provides individual and business income tax services for clients, and consults on accounting and QuickBooks software related issues. She enjoys building lasting relationships with clients while helping them to resolve pressing challenges and achieve their long-term goals.

    Lisa brings nearly 30 years of accounting and business administration experience to the firm. She has experience working for other medium size CPA firms and has been a senior accountant for two of Portland’s fastest growing companies. Whether it’s preparing 1099s for our small business clients or preparing spreadsheets to consolidate a complex tax return, Lisa’s can-do, fearless work ethic is contagious!

    Lisa lives life seemingly effortlessly. From being a CrossFit(er) at 5:30 am, to work by 8, and being a wife and mom, she has it all under control. Lisa confesses her grandchildren and the opportunity to travel to warm sunny destinations make it all worth it. Maybe you CAN have your cake and eat it too!!

    Jake truly enjoys working with all clients and finds each of them fascinating in their own ways. He believes we must understand the client and their business before we can start solving problems. Whether it is assisting a client with QuickBooks or preparing a tax return, you can always count on Jake to see the project through to the finish. Jake has been in the accounting industry for over 10 years with a focus on individual and business taxation during the most recent 5 years. He also offers accounting services to clients in the construction industry.

    Jake is a true Oregonian. He graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Accounting. He does not plan his hikes around weather and does not own an umbrella. When he is out of the office, he likes to find places to travel with little to no cell service. He’s an avid outdoorsman who finds beauty in some of the most remote places.
